Questions
Frequently asked
How does the detector decide?
It measures statistical patterns typical of machine-generated prose — uniform sentence length, stock transitions and predictable word choice — then combines them into a single likelihood score.
Can the detector be wrong?
Yes, and it says so. Treat the score as a signal with visible evidence, not a courtroom verdict. Short or heavily edited passages are the hardest to judge.
Is there a word limit?
The free tier handles everyday documents comfortably. Very long manuscripts can be checked in sections, and Pro raises the per-run ceiling.
Does it work on my phone?
Fully. The interface adapts to small screens and everything still runs locally in the mobile browser.
