Without any particular announcement from Play, the operator decided as the last of the “big four” to significantly increase the price of the mobile subscription. Last year, T-Mobile and Orange did, including Plus and now Play.
The increase in Play due to the promotion, which has long been in effect when buying a subscription online, seems quite significant. Of course, this is a discount of 10 PLN for buying or transferring a number online. For example, subscription M has so far cost 60 PLN, but for an online purchase 50 PLN. Today, the same plan costs 65 PLN – the promotion is no longer available for online purchase. Similarly, subscription L costs 80 PLN, 70 PLN online and 85 PLN today.
To sum up – formally, the Play subscription fee has increased by 5 PLN, in real terms – comparing the option from a week ago to 15 PLN. There is also no known principle of the increases of the other three operators – more for more, because the doubled data transfer has also been in force for some time, so there is no room for limits of even higher data transfer.

We described all the augmentations of other operators in separate materials, links to them can be found in this entry. We can therefore now move on to comparing the current prices of the “big four” mobile subscriptions.
I have divided the comparison into three parts – the cheapest subscriptions up to 50 PLN, the most popular subscriptions – above 50 PLN to 70 PLN and the most expensive subscriptions – above 70 PLN.
We start with the cheapest. At Orange, after the last increase, we will no longer offer subscriptions below 50 PLN. In Play we have two subscriptions with a limit of 50 PLN and in T-Mobile one.

Within the limit of 70 PLN, Orange offers two packages – for 55 PLN per month and 65 PLN per month. Play one for 65 PLN per month, plus one for 59 PLN and T-Mobile, like Orange, two – for 55 PLN per month and 65 PLN per month.

In the case of the most expensive subscriptions – more than 70 PLN, Orange has one subscription for 85 PLN, Play has two – for 85 PLN per month and 95 PLN per month, Plus, likewise two – for 79 PLN per month and 99 PLN per month, and T-Mobile, similar to Orange one – for 85 PLN per month.

So, 100 PLN for a monthly subscription is already close, some operators still have a reserve up to this level for an additional increase – I think it will happen this year.
